Eric & Star

Eric and Star first met in 1971 at a class in college at the University of the East, Manila. They were classmates in the Financial Accounting class. The first time Eric laid eyes on her was love at first sight; he knew right away she was the one. Eric was attracted to her natural beauty, well-kept long hair, neatness, simplicity, and quiet personality. From then on, he always looked forward to their meeting in class and pursued her relentlessly. As for Star, she was attracted to his smarts — always striving to improve himself — and to his considerate, caring nature, the way he always made sure she made it safely home no matter the time or the weather.

They married on December 4, 1976, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Mandaluyong City, surrounded by family, relatives, and friends. The reception followed at Aberdeen Court in Makati.

Over five decades, they've built a home, a family, and a life filled with joy, laughter, adventure, and a journey of faith and devotion to the Almighty. Together they've raised four children, built their careers, traveled the world, and welcomed four grandchildren.

Through every season, every joy and challenge, they've shown all of us what a lasting love looks like.
